In this webinar Mr. Wolfe will discuss industry trends, including some of the proactive steps health care leaders can take to modify and stabilize their physician and APP coverage arrangements.

He will also discuss the evolving regulatory requirements surrounding COVID-19, including the Stark and Anti-Kickback Laws and the blanket waivers that were issued earlier this year in connection with the pandemic.

The webinar will discuss the scope and application of the previously issued blanket waivers related to COVID-19 physician arrangements. It will also address how health care leaders can analyze and document compliance during and after the pandemic.

Why should you Attend: In today's challenging environment hospital, health care leaders are taking proactive steps to modify and stabilize their provider arrangements to ensure they have sustainable physician and APP coverage that meets the needs of patients and their communities. At the same time, leaders should not lose sight of compliance.

The government has warned that it will be working to combat potential fraud and abuse resulting from arrangements that were entered into in response to the pandemic.

In this challenging environment health care leaders should understand physician and APP contracting trends and how to navigate the evolving regulatory requirements surrounding COVID-19 so they can mitigate risk.

In particular, leaders should understand how to analyze and document their good faith believe that their arrangements fall within any available blanket waivers to protect their organizations from future False Claims Act relator suits (also known as whistleblower suits) and enforcement actions.
